It’s a great project. Idk if I’d call it a classic like I would FNL and 2014 FHD but it’s definitely near the top of the list of his projects. He was rapping his ass off
It’s a great project, I still play it all the time but idk if I can call it a classic album
Idk how niggas can live with themselves telling decade old community jokes
S*** make me cringe, but I would go on stage with a new 10 every single time. I don't even retell jokes irl with friends
Oh lighten up a bit! Now im the enemy ? I jst spreading some funny in the morning of the day. Get a grip

What would you say holds it back?
It checks all the boxes imo
I just think we've become overly protective of the term classic because it gets over used but sometimes we just gotta give credit where its due imo

It didn’t have the same impact of those other albums. Feels like it dropped. People acknowledged it was a good album and then they kinda just moved on

I kind of view it as an evolution of The Warm Up where he is putting on an exhibition of his skills which of course are always up to par but it’s something that he’s already done to an extent if that makes sense. I wouldn’t be mad about someone classifying it as such since it had quality, was received well, and is still relevant imo at least

That's the culture though, every album is like that now
What 2020's rap album has staying power outside of the artist's fanbase?

People who aren't Carti fans don't rate WLR bruh and I'm a carti fan
The bar is being set very low if these are deemed "classics" lmao

It had way more impact than the offseason

Fair
I just think the criteria for classic is getting very arbitrary and convoluted and inconsistent, ultimately subjective
Like… GRODT had way more impact than The Black Album for example but that doesn’t mean The Black Album is not a classic lol

I mean you can make easy cases for FNL and FHD. Niggas definitely reaching with Off-Season though.

Do you listen to these projects
“How is my own personal opinion not common sentiment???”
The wonders of human consciousness man
No real hit single that stayed with the people. Yall be forgetting the single(s) are like the first step for a classic album especially in this day and age from one of the biggest artists out
Oh lighten up a bit! Now im the enemy ? I jst spreading some funny in the morning of the day. Get a grip
It's not about you, it's about the jokes
You cool, I knew you were just playing around
Do you listen to these projects
Listened it to come to the conclusion that it's nowhere near a classic like a lot of Cole stans like to pretend
Putting the classic label on an album in this day & age = album I really really really like
That word holds zero weight now because Gen-Z and 30 yr old millennials have ran it to the ground
