Anytime I’ve eaten an apple, for instance, I always go the wash and scrub route (specifically with a fruit/veggie scrubber), but recently I’ve read that it’s recommended to soak your fruit and/or veggies in a water+baking soda/water+vinegar solution for at least 10 minutes on top of scrubbing to remove pesticides.

Also, for people who might now know, doesn’t matter if you go the organic route, there still likely pesticides usage.

Rinsing water over something is not cleaning by the way.

I don't eat raw vegetables or fruit usually so I assume cooking them is enough and I've never gotten sick

So to answer the question the answer is not at all

That’s the way. But you should let it soak for 1 hour minimum. Also you should rinse, change the water + baking soda and repeat 2 times. That really gets 95% off. 10 minutes you will still have like 50%
