I started going out with a girl that recently broke with her ex. Chemistry is strong, we even f***ed a couple times already. But she also said that she wasnt ready for a serious thing and needed time to heal.

A couple days ago her ex shows up at her place. She told me she knows he wack but still had feelings for him, she didnt "pick him" or came back with him cus I'm also in the picture.

I'm real sad about this situation. Like, i have feelings for this girl and i know if i stick around i may have a chance, but also i f***ing hate being second option . I'm not even in the mood to talk to her no more. I just want a mutual thing :( . I even consider just leaving this rs.

Help me out for the future, how you avoid being a second option?
