What i used to do was wet the toothbrush no paste and scrape/brush my tongue before i start adding the paste and brushing my teeth

Also if you always s*** or piss before you brush (usually everybody does) try to force yourself next time to brush before you s***/piss idk how to explain this one but its like a psychological trick and helps alot
