Any of you follow a certain routine while drinking so that you don't get hangover the next day?
From what I know currently you should:
1. Hydrate
2. Try to drink alcohol without the byproducts (whiskey - a lot of byproducts - great hangover; vodka - almost no byproducts - less hangover)
3. There's a theory that's not 100% confirmed that sugar and alcohol don't go hand in hand. Something about sugar making the bad things from alcohol stay in you body longer and you're left with feeling like s*** the next day bc your body is still fighting
So...
The routine I'm planning on implementing is:
Anything more?
drink vodka mixed with water
have a bottle by your bed so you can drink a heap before sleeping then more if you wake up through the night
dont be afraid to throw up
sadly I i got meds that give me hangovers after like 6-8 drinks i just try to drink less now or go as designated driver to save the thought at all

"mix vodka with water" so shot of vodka and then drink water or is it a real drink to just pour vodka and water in the same cup and drink it together? 🤔
If you’re mixing drinks, and am iso a beer: Get a Pilsner. It’s lightweight and you won’t sound cheap
Start your pre game with a healthy drink. Like a green smoothie lol until you get used to drinking then have fun

yeah like order it as a drink
Potatoes. Eat the potatoes 🥔
Know your pacing, it’s a dance not a ufc fight
H..how? 😮
Cook a bunch of potatoes and take it with you to a party? 😅

Hit up a restaurant or fast food and get a large fry.
Drinking is all about balance, not necessarily being a total rager unless you’re built for it
I’ve found that pregaming is always the way to go
Get Gatorade beforehand, drink a bottle inbetween drinks.
Drink a bottle before you go to sleep
Had 2 bad hangovers in my life, rest are usually pretty tolerable
Avoid mixing, hydrate with water/gatorade, eat beforehand, dancing to sweat it out. Had the worst hangover of my life last weekend thread speaks to me
I just drink water throughout the event or night & i dont try to drink myself to absolute death
Really not hard imo

Alcohol itself causes hangovers, not byproducts.
The best things you can do are to drink as much water as alcohol throughout the night, then try to sleep through as much of it as you can in the morning.
If those don’t work, take a Tylenol, a shower and get some fresh air.
Don´t mix more than 2 drinks, and just drink a lot of water that´s usually good enough for me not to be hangover next morning
Hit up a restaurant or fast food and get a large fry.

Is there anything scientific about it or is it just something you've noticed?
