Nothing has really come out so far this year, but how do you guys keep up with releases that'll typically fall under the radar in Hip Hop (ie. new R.A.P. Ferreira) and releases across other genres? I check musicboard from time to time to see what new releases people are reviewing, but there's not really a great spot to find all the quality releases so far. Anyone have a spot?
follow my favorite artists to keep up on releases
look at what artists they're retweeting/liking
check them out
if I like them, I follow them too and keep up with their releases
repeat ad infinitum
haven't listened to anything new since they stopped pinning new releases in here
also, as much as this site hates channels like Fantano and DEHH and sites like Reddit, they're great to find out new music that you might've never heard.

They need to pin that s*** again

I'll usually catch up on Hip Hop through the NMF threads on reddit because they're generally pretty thorough, but otherwise try to avoid hhh like the plague. Need some way to keep up with other genres as well

HHH is garbage, but /r/indieheads and /r/popheads are great. their year-end best albums of the year and recurring best albums of all time threads are amazing. /r/experimentalmusic is good for a round-up of monthly releases as well.
other genre-specific ones like /r/BlackMetal and /r/jazz also tend to be pretty good. HHH is just notoriously s***ty.
Not a lot of new releases but usually I just follow artists on IG or my friends tell me about new music
RYM is good at this too
there stickied in music sxn (edit: i did not know they stopped it, is this punishment for participating in the #drakeinmusicsxnthreadtitleCHALLENGE ???)
and Spotify new releases category
I found this forum called KTT its got all the discussion about whats new and hot!
