basically wanted to share how to make this site open like its own mobile/desktop app

1. Download any browser extension for userscripts, like

tampermonkey.net for most desktop browsers

or iOS App Store:
apps.apple.com/us/app/userscripts/id1463298887

2. Use this script

Press Raw code and open the extension you downloaded, it should automatically detect it (for example on iPhone press icon next to url, select the extension, then press install Userscript)

3. Press add to home screen
(on iOS you’ll see it if you press the share symbol on toolbar, on desktop press install App in url bar)

Now you can browse KTT like an app without the browser stuff that takes up space. Also you can delete the extension or whatever after

Nah you can read the code (only a few lines)

it doesn’t do anything but convert the display into a progressive web app (PWA) instead of a static site

ie. the same way if you go on instagram .com on desktop it has an option in the url bar to install app because it’s a PWA (newer and more flexible and allows notifications unlike a regular site)

It still shows me the safari elements and I’m in the safari app
