    yea its all just nonsense

we could have a legit, fresh candidate thats cut from a different cloth than all the rich connected people that end up running for president

and the media would bury that candidate, and prop up the rich, well connected candidate instead.

bernie was the closest we had to that, and he sold out

what does it really say if the two main parties in American politics, by the standards of literally the rest of the world, are considered not very far apart at all?

    it says:

    thats what it says,

and I know its what it says

we wont get real change, whether you are right-wing or left-wing, through the republican party or the democrats

we need more competition (more parties) to come forward so we have more options come voting time. that will encourage the parties to step their game up due to the increased number of choices. in the business world, competition forces everyone to up their game because if you dont you can lose your position and authority

    i agree with this

I get what you mean, we can't place our faith in one person alone imo anyway, I appreciate the contributions to popular American thought he has made, regardless.

he had people protesting and nearly rioting outside the arena in 2016 during the DNC. a lot of grass roots support. and he rolled over like a baby and took the L. i didnt understand that at all

ross perot should have been president for sure. another one that comes to mind for me was ron paul when he ran both times.

its true tho man. the superdelegates and the process the democrats have during the primaries is rigged more than the way the republicans do s***.

literally all the superdelegates pledged to hillary, bernie didnt get s*** from what i remember. it was just about hillary getting her way and wanting to be the president. all the powerful people wanted her also because they know shes just a hack that wont actually do s*** lol

this year bernies hype and momentum died down, and on top of that you had warren, who was riding bernies d*** the last 3-4 years, stay in the race just to split up votes so uncle joe could get the nomination. if all the dipshits that had no chance would have just dropped out bernie may have been able to win

Biden? the guy who said George HW Bush wasn’t going hard enough on d*** crimes & stated d*** users should get locked up alongside the sellers? the guy who strongly supports fracking? the guy who championed the War in Iraq & was one of the main reasons it was approved in 2002? the guy who wrote the 1994 Crime Bill? the guy who was pro-segregation, not wanting his kids to grow up in a “racial jungle”? the guy who suppressed the results of the primary to fool people into thinking he was beating Bernie?

he’s a step in some direction from Trump, but i wouldn’t call it a progressive direction

yea for sure, im not even really a bernie fan, but one of my good friends is. so i understand when people feel like they got screwed. im looking at what happened unbiased and its pretty clear the forces behind the scenes were just working against him and trying to prop up hillary and biden instead. sucks that they succeeded

we need to talk about how rigged the primaries are as well. it always seems like the big general elections get talked about. they prevent independent candidates from running because they cant get X amount of support, therefore they cant be on debate stages and s***

every primary theirs losers that get like 0.1% of the votes and stay in the race and just take in donations and enrich themselves. or they get like 5% and they stay in and collude with another campaign to try to stop someone else from getting more votes. in 2016 john kasich wouldnt drop of the race for whatever reason even tho he had no path to win. it was just to try to undermine trump

this year we had like 15 people running on the dem side, and some of them stayed in long enough to take away votes that bernie may have gotten if it were down to 2 choices - him or biden.

if you cant win a single state, or finish in the top 3 a set amount of times, or have an average % of at least 10% or some s***. you should be forced to drop out of the race.

i don’t support either of them, but the way i see it, Biden is pretty much the worst “left” candidate the DNC’s propped up yet. by getting him elected, that tells the DNC that their next candidate’s policies can be as right-wing as they’d like as long as they don’t call themselves a Republican

if people think this election cycle is bad, the 2024 and 2028 ones will make it look like a joke

the primaries were literally rigged so that Bernie would lose. none of the other candidates were legit in it to win it, they only existed to take votes from Bernie. especially bootyjudge

ive already seen some people say they're waiting on AOC and s*** for 2024. it just screams of a losers mentality

we need more common people, like the founders thought our government should run. the common man/woman is supposed to be able to run for a government position and serve their country in that regard

right now you need to be a millionaire, or be seriously connected through politics to even have a chance. its rigged as f***

there needs to be stricter deadlines for primaries. come like the halfway point, or whatever significant date you want to choose during the primary. if you have no path and havent won s*** the entire time, you need to drop out. some people do drop out, but some dont and stay in and like you said, they collude with other campaigns to fight against another candidate
