This song is amazing in it's own right. Has nothing with being a hipster. Had this demo gotten the polish it needed it would have been a great track. Would it be #1 record? No, but just because a song isn't doesn't mean it's not great or shouldn't be released

It’s straight up not tho. And I’m not the usual mf on KTT where something needs to be #1 and sell a mil first week for it to be “good”.

But this literally sounds like exactly what it is, a decent demo record that didn’t become a final song for a reason. It’s not only unpolished, but it also sounds like it wasn’t a final idea and wasn’t woven together like a final record would be. Which it isn’t. Nothing wrong wit that. But it sounds like exactly what it is.

To put it further into perspective, Abel has finished songs that were NEVER gonna be “hits”, that are still amazing. Initiation being a prime example. That’s the best song he ever made. But it was never gonna be anywhere NEAR a hit. Was still most definitely a finished final song that was released for a very clear reason tho.
