Don't know how many of ya'll use twitter, but Elon might torpedo the whole thing so wondering if anybody has tried Mastodon and had any thoughts?

How about no Twitter alternatives? I don't want another app where people give too much validation to a person's opinion and feelings about anything through text based posts. It's not real and genuine at all.

It does not sound appealing at all to me personally..never have I ever thought damn I wish twitter was more like discord. Whole reason I personally be use Twitter is to see what the world saying bout s***

Twitter will be fine lmao but tbh I do see it gradually falling off and by the time it does there will probably be a better alternative

The user experience of making a new account is s***. People won't know what a fediverse is or an instance, it requires too much effort. Finding one to suit your own hobbies is hard enough, and then you can face issues like servers going down much more frequently

That being said I love the idea of Mastodon and I use it.
