that's fair lol. Since I know the album isn't too far away, like 4 months at most I'm swearing off leaks and snippets until then.
Would have been nuts to hear Deep Pockets and Chicago Freestyle for the first time.

Confirmation of Not Around being on the tracklist already put's it above Scorpion
Long as he keeps it under 18 tracks, has a handful of introspective joints about fatherhood and a coupla slappers we good
I do get OP though, we never getting something as crisp as Tuscan Leather again ;(

Honestly you might be right idk, but I’d like to say 2 things.
1. I think you’re doing a disservice to yourself by thinking that.
2. I wouldn’t be surprised if there was a Tuscan Leather esque song on this new album.

Bro he explains that pretty clearly on the rad radar interview. He doesn’t feel a need to prove himself with the traditional classic rap album. He doesn’t need To.
And it’s all subjective anyways, but I and many others would say all his albums are classics or borderline classic and that’s what rly matters

I hope he'll make some regular 10-track traditional hip hop type album, would be an instant classic tbh. But we know he has to appeal to like 20 different demographics so that won't happen, just wishful thinking

I’m not really feeling these songs, maybe cuz I’m starting to get tired of this style Drake been doing. Along with muddy, goofy sounding 808’s and bland drums, like wtf happened to the crisp sound of his older music. Not trying to say his next album will end up being another 4/10 weedplate, but not to the level that people been hyping it up.
If his next release turn to be average again, lowkey I’ll have to stop checking for his music. Hate to feel this way, since Drake has been one of my favorites from the start.
