But random thought if socialism became a big part of the US ..

• People aren't growing up in the struggle anymore like that

• Nobody can become rich so quickly like in capitalism

• Material flexing would be less of a thing since people own less/make less at the top

• Less racism (?) or atleast less inequality

It's a bad thing if Rap as a WHOLE dies, because it's basically a culture where black people can thrive in musically without being white washed by labels.

if it just becomes conscious rap it would be good but it won't last long. So overall It would be a bad thing imo.

it's not like we elect a socialist as president and everything is fixed

in reality, even if the US went full on communist there would still be people living in poverty

Rap basically embodies it; Person A grows up struggling, becomes a rapper, gets a hit song, signs a deal and becomes a millionaire.

Flex raps won't work in a Socialistic society because it wouldn't be realistic, conscious rap might replace it but I doubt it would last long either.

Lot of conscious rap is about the struggle/differences between people too

socialism would help some things, wreck a lot of things
