social media went from a cool and fun thing to being a sad addiction that has also substantially made the way we interact with each other dumber. Pretty much everything has become worldstar culture and we are either too numb to it (meme culture) or too sensitive to it (cancel culture). Everything is a meme and nothing is safe or sacred.

Man the decade started off pretty strong but 2016 onward pretty much became woat. Too much social media obsession, loss of that original spirit on the internet that was on its way out in the early years of the 2010s, no more interesting s*** on twitch and youtube, depressing politics. But my personal life has been on the up and up so that was nice.
