It's a reminiscent of old hip hop singles where the beat is a simple piano loop but it f***ing hits (take the the real slim shady for example), the way Kendrick's flow hits every piano note is ridiculous
You got cleaver bars like "Soprano C we like to keep it on a high note"
you got crazy flex lines like "Girl, I can buy yo' ass the world with my paystub"
you got lyrics empowering women and most importantly the hook that most people repeat is be humble

but wait it's also directed at big sean

Kendrick uses a Big Sean adlib on the hook, instead of dissing that poor guy he reminds him to stay humble power moves only
