I disagree. Yes the manga is on constant hiatus. But the anime pretty much tells a complete story, and ends in a place where you could consider it concluded.
the journey began with Gon searching for his father, and the anime ends with him finding his father. and he's hardly been seen since then in the manga.(though im sure he'd be back in the story by now if it werent for the hiatuses)

I would say the anime is still a must watch, as it just feels like a complete story despite everything

Still no gameplay though, from the look of it, it seems like arena fighter off visuals. Could be a 3v3 though given 8ing did MvC3 and chase after similar with DBFZ. Same time could be like the Naruto or One PIece games where you pick a character and two assists.

Hopefully will actually be 2D and fit that "full scale fighting game" moniker from the announcement

I wish arc system works was the size of a AAA publisher and they had the rights to most shonen manga rather than bandai so they could make great fighting games out of them
