Drums can do that. But honestly, too many songs have been released in the past say 5 or 6 years think trap beats and such, where drums are basically the only things we hear like huge 808s and moog bass acting more like a drum than a bass think tracks like 679 by ferry sap. Nothing wrong with this music but it’s so overdone now I appreciate the chilled out production on JIK
The energy I refer to in these tracks has nothing to do with drums, it’s mainly either the chanting progression in Selah, increasingly loud and the screams in I am a God.
