    YEEZUS IS LORD

Look at that s***. They took my f***ing stage off of SNL. Without asking me. Now I'm bummed. That and Taylor Swift, fake ass. Now I ain't gonna do this, we breaking the motherfucking internet. I went through six years of this f***ing s***. Let's get to it bro. Let's get to it bro.

Are they f***ing crazy? Bro, by fifty percent. Stanley Kubrick, Apostle Paul, Picasso, f***ing Picasso, and Escobar. By fifty percent, more influential than any other human being. Don't f*** with me. Don't f*** with me. Don't f*** with me. By fifty percent, dead or alive. By fifty percent for the next thousand years. Stanley Kubrick, Ye.

If Ye retired after TLOP, he really would’ve been the rap equivalent of Kubrick tbh.

True, but it’s more that Stanley’s filmography was flawless (From 1957 atleas) and so was ye’s, before TLOP. Also switching it up every project.

You say that like Barry Lyndon, The Shining and to a lesser extent but still, Eyes Wide Shut weren’t s*** on at the time of their release. And before you say that it’s different with Ye and JIK, it’s not, at least you can’t make that assessment at this stage.

You have to compare Barry Lyndon, The Shining and Eyes Wide Shut with 808’s, Yeezus and to a lesser extent TLOP. These were all polarising, but atleast you could see there was a lot of effort put in to the projects. Ye and JIK are both half assed releases, on the level something pre TLOP Ye or Kubrick himself would never release. So not a good comparison imo.
