In my college (Frankfurt) there is easily a good mix of alle cultures. From arab chicks to chechen OGs

I personally could not imagine stunting my own personal growth because I wasn’t gonna be in my idea of an ideal environment

Just go. You will grow and you might shed some of that ignorance towards whites. And if you still cannot fw them in any capacity then f*** it and focus on your degree.

you won't know what its like or if you're the only Black person until you're there

and even if you are you have a chance to break new ground and open doors for others that look like you. Some young kid might be thinking the same thing, see you at that school, and feel more confident in applying themselves

plus if its going to be good for your future, short-term pain for long-term success is worth it in a few years are you gonna remember the anxiety you're feeling when you're making money and building your life?

look out for any Black clubs, faculty, or networks you can join and connect with to ease your worries

imo the things that have given me the most anxiety before starting them have been the most rewarding afterwards
