I thought the album was okay on release didn't think too much of it other than the production was super nice and the length maybe wasn't justified and then on 2nd listen I would say my impression was even more critical of it I thought Disc 39 was kinda a slog to get through maybe I was just really tired idk BUT I gave it one more chance last night and ngl this thing sounding real nice I think this might be his best project but again I'm not exactly a fan I'm still not sure how this works as a double-disc project (don't think it's exactly an easy listen front to back compared to something like Summertime 86?) but at the same time I don't have any major gripes about it maybe Legacy hook is a lil goofy i guess?

Iceman kinda smoked Cole’s album but this was my favorite Cole album in a long time and an elite album this year

Really good album overall. Disc 39 is a bit slow. Would like to remove 2 songs on each disc and replace with something more. Intro to disc 39 second part is top tier rapping matched with a top tier beat.

Its a shame we will never get a Drake Cole album... I really wonder what happened behind scenes if Drake could forgive Future but not Cole (who didnt do anything?!)

It’s a good rapping and story telling album. J Cole just lost his replay value song making ability idk what happened. For the most part. There are some songs i go back to, but when you make an album that long, it’s hard to revisit it
