first things first Wayne is one of my favorite rappers so this isn't just a hate thread

i really enjoyed C5 when it came out it felt like a true comeback moment but i was replaying it the other day and most of the songs like 70% of it did nothing for me. there are some highlights for sure (Don't Cry, Dedicate, Took His Time, Let It All Work Out), but as a whole it's not that enjoyable compared to C2 and C3 and even C4 imo. i can't be the only one who thinks that Travis song sounds dated in the worst way possible (even back in the day it sounded like it shoulda came out 4 years earlier) and Wayne's verse is near unlistenable. What About Me is also pretty terrible

that's not to say it's a bad project per se i guess it's just really safe especially after Dedication 6 ? and there's something for everyone i suppose but I'll take C4 over this any day he was taking some risks there
