A lot of people don't realize how collaborative music has always been. I just hate that the OGs in the game were never open with it. So this is normal amongst rappers who have great working relationships.

even Lil Wayne publicly admitted he was "accepting ideas" from other people (Im Single and How To Love for example), and yall really think Wayne didn't write the vast majority of his bars or should have his whole catalog discredited because of that?

I'm not implying Wayne or anyone else's whole catalogs should be discredited because they collaborate with others. Wayne ideas were still implemented to those ideas. no big deal. the conversation is just acknowledging that collaborations between artists happen. its okay. rap is the only genre this seems to be a problem when it shouldn't be. rappers been doing this since the beginning of hip hop
