Just finished ant man

Now this one was interesting. All the characters were likable, plot was good, but I’ll be honest most of the jokes in this one fell flat. For a movie written by comedy writers (see Adam McKay) didn’t feel that funny tbh. Could tell they were trying but didn’t do it for me. Fights in this one were also the weakest in the MCU so far. Now I know it’s ant man so it’s kinda expected (in my opinion) but I thought worth mentioning.

However as I said, the plot in this one was more engaging / fun than I’ll be honest a lot of the MCU. But the action was lacking, and for a “comedy” wasn’t that funny. Guardians did it way better.

Although, this movie you can really start to see the whole cinematic universe pay off, appearances from the falcon and fighting at the avengers new HQ is dope as hell. Moments like those just appreciate the universe.

I have a recommendation but you don’t have to do this but it all depends on what you feel like doing

The Black Widow movie takes place after Civil War and before Infinity War but it’s end credits scene takes place after Endgame. Even though it came out after Spider-Man: Far From Home

So for the movie to work better I would watch it after Civil War but end it once the credits roll.

Then watch the end credits scene after Falcon and the Winter Soldier

I won’t go into why but it’ll make sense later

THAT MOVIE WAS HYPE AS F*** F*** ANY HATERS.

Where else can you get like 10+ super hero’s all fighting each other at once. Man that airport scene was a scene to be remembered. Man they introduced black panther hes hype af. Then they introduced Spider-Man in the same film!!!!!! Fam you can’t beat that s***. Man seeing them all fight was one of the craziest s*** I’ve ever seen I just couldn’t stop smiling.

Then the Howard stark reveal iron man freaked the f*** out and didn’t listen to no reason. That final fight between cap and iron man was something else

Ok enough gloating about the film. The Villain sucked hard and did absolutely nothing for me this film. Bro was just there but whatever. And the plot was inferior to winter soldier. But man I can overlook all that s***. This was the craziest MCU film so far, has the best fights and everyone on screen (minus hulk for some weird reason).

Official rating: 9/10
