This movie really made me realize that watching them all like this is worth it.

The first two hours of this movie is just a love letter to people who have been there from the beginning and watched every single MCU film to this point. So many tidbits and Easter eggs and scenes that make you realize holy s*** they pulled it off. 10 years of a cinematic universe with a clear vision and this is the end result. Those first two hours, although had little fights, was actually great. Seeing everyone cope with what thanos did 5 years later was a great story telling device in my opinion, instead of just going right away into fixing things.

Then the last hour of this filmā€¦. WOW. I was legit mouth open the entire time. The fight against thanos was easily my favorite fight in the entire MCU. Man seeing strange call everyone back together was the coolest f***ing thing ever. I canā€™t imagine how hype that must have been to see in theaters. Like F*** that whole fight was amazing.

Then tony dude went out like a champ. Funeral scene was great and everyone sending him off. Then to top it off cap went back to live his life with his girl manā€¦. Happy for the guy but sad thereā€™s gonna be no more cap or iron man.

OKAY THAT SAID. This reads like a 10/10 but Iā€™ll be honest. If I had to chose one to watch, infinity war, or thisā€¦.. Iā€™d choose infinity war. Infinity was was constant action and suspense throughout, this had 2 hours of setup for that final hour. Worth it yes, but idkā€¦ Iā€™m leaning towards infinity war here. People who donā€™t care about this characters as much would prob pick infinity war as well. I can see the argument for both movies being better, but letā€™s all be in agreement (lmfao I hope) that infinity war and end game are top 2 MCU idc.

    Since I gave infinity war a 10ā€¦.

    Endgame 9.9/10

The experience in the theater was a once in a lifetime thing, I donā€™t think any movie is gonna come close to that in a long time

Iā€™d argue if all the leaks never happened, absolutely so.

But unfortunately we donā€™t live in that timeline

multiverse stuff coming to a head in dr strange 2, secret invasion series finishing out the kree skrull arc

  • Jan 23, 2022

if youre watching all the old spiderman movies you might as well watch the daredevil series as well. And well considering the rumors for dr strange 2, you might have about 15 more movies to watch

i wouldn't call the first 2 hours setup at all. I really liked how it was like a cool almost like spy time travel thriller movie. After infinity war was basically a love letter to the marvel superhero genre it wouldn't have made sense to do it a second time

Overall I thought this was a good sequel to the original Spider-Man. But man peter Parker just dumb as hell this movie. Yeah lemme give these multi billion dollar glasses to mysterio who I just met i was yelling at the screen how dumb is this mfer.

That said I love the characters in this Spider-Man universe, Ned, the teacher, happy, I just love these guys and the lighthearted tone of the movie.

Also the CGI during the mysterio scenes!!!! Man they were f***ing crazy some of the best CGI in the MCU.

I liked this one less than the first one, but overall I found it very enjoyable. Iā€™m thinking a 7.5 on this one overall as I hated how dumb they made peter at some parts

hes a young kid, just lost iron man, feels like he cant do anything right and he just saw what was in his mind someone save the world just like iron man did

the writing can be bad but its more understandable when you think of things from his perspective
