tbh just watch it during your Phase 2 watch. Slowly but surely. Don’t worry the show won’t be a necessity quite yet but trus me you gonna wanna have it watched to truly feel it more later on
also Daredevil is easily top 3 marvel content so it’s not gonna drag for you my guy

Cap was so lame to me before that
I went into the movie as a hater 
I wasnt. Cap fan at all and thought his suit was whack. But then I thoroughly enjoyed Cap 1 and then 2 cemented him as my favorite avenger. But I'm a fan of his morality and his red ranger like personality.
Halo was popping and Marvel Ultimate Alliance and Iron Man 1 had me as a temporary Iron Man stan. Then Iron man 2 dropped and I was bored of him

Looked up the stuff before hand…. Not sure if I can be assed to watch the ABC / Netflix stuff if it’s not part of the MCU.
I would recommend the New Rockstars breakdowns on yt for some of the better ones. He goes really in depth with how everything ties together. The writing gets progressively better and more layered

We've only seen 2 characters tbh. Would be fairly easy to retcon, especially if Echo offed punisher

it's def canon to a degree but they're gonna change things as they see fit with the MCU. same backstory ofc
