Yeah, I think I remember you mentioning a former partner of yours put you onto veganism.
I feel you in the sense of like people getting together at a steak house but are there any events in particular you're thinking of?
Kind of crazy looking back at the Got Milk commericals keeping that in mind
Something as simple as going out for dinner with some friends, or out for drinks after work can center around it in a way. Some places its actually nothing on the menu. Cookouts, potlucks, picnics, tailgating, camping, etc. all commonly include cooking meat as the main food. Can feel outcast and weird if you don't take part. Obviously it's changing and I still throw all those events myself and make sure to share how good vegan food can be. Don't even get me started on advertising for dairy and meat tho. So much f***in money spent on that s***
Anyway, just today I made these things for my wife and some of her students as a snack before rehearsal today. Everyone loved em too I hope I'm planting seeds of change.
Bruh me and my ex took some edibles then went to boomer jacks one time . I don’t even remember what we ordered but we just kept chewing and chewing and it didn’t taste right then we got paranoid and left. Never again
Crine @ we got paranoid lmaoo

Yeah you're absolutely right and should have had that from the jump considering I grew up in Texas.
Those rollups look crazy, for sure gonna get some minds thinking
I used to sleep cucumbers so hard but they're one of the most refreshing foods ever
Been off red meat for nearly a week now. I notice my ego is more in check these days, and I dont feel so negative all the time. I notice people around me who choose to eat meat get caught up in the web of ego
How sway?
Steak is better high lol
Tell me you never had a good steak in your life without telling me

Crazy, my sister and I sear some of the best prime ribeye and ny strips you have ever had.

Proof it! Dinner at 8 tomorrow? 😶🌫️
Tell me, don't you feel it's somehow 'cheating' to set up entire farms specifically for the purposes of growing, harvesting, and consuming a race of conscious beings? Kind of like nonstop "spawn killing" in CALL OF DUTY? Do you think we bear any long-term repercussions for having our fellow humans act as executioners on our behalf? SPIRITUAL repercussions, perhaps?
Dam op is real af
I don’t think convincing the world that eating meat is bad is the solution because it’s not true. The s*** we get at grocery stores is for the most part trash but good grass finished beef and lamb, pastured pork, etc are all good meats
It’s quality more than quantity, the way they process and package meat now is purely about quantity
Obviously the conveyor belt mentality is what is slowing destroying the US but they don’t see it
Plant based diets also have good recipes, some of those dishes are healthy and enjoyable. My balance has been to have good cuts of meat with vegan sides like salads, potatoes, etc
Like all things you shouldnt overdo it, and then there is no problem. Many people eat meat everyday tho. That is not good

Bring some Mac and cornbread and you got a deal playa.
Nothing wrong with eating meat my friend. The lower exists to serve the higher. We serve God
Yeah aight
Yea it really ain't as hard as people seem to think. I think one of the hardest aspects of going vegan is the social component. If everyone gave it a try all at once nobody would feel like they were missing out lol. But we have so many social gatherings and activities that involve eating meat. You pair that with our deep primal instinct to not want to be an outsider to our tribe and we erect these big psychological walls to the true horror of taking a life to eat it.
I say it all the time but it ain't like I was born a vegan and i even had a "meat is murder, tasty tasty murder' shirt i would proudly wear in high school lmaoo. So if I can see through it all and make the changes in my life then I think anyone can.
Need better marketing tbh, I feel like ppl gloss over how much propaganda is put out by animal ag. but are quick to call out other political propaganda. The Govt pours money into these industries as well to keep the cost low, otherwise meat and dairy would be far more expensive than any vegan option, and fruit/veg get almost no govt subsidies lol.
Anyway I could go on and on about it lol but imma stop there
How hard is vegan body building? Vegetarian i can see cause can replace chicken and fish w eggs and milk etc.

Have you ever taken this idea of yours further, to ask WHAT may be preying on us? Are you saying you believe humans to be the last "stop" before GOD? LOL
I went to a buffet high out of my mind last week and it was so uncomfortable
I was sitting there like damn Im eating a cow right now
Probably was cow head.
I never think of what I’m eating unless it has a face.

No, the lower serving the higher doesnt look the same on every level

Not as hard as you might think. There's many killed vegan sources of protein, anyone with a couple grocery stores to go to and a kitchen shouldn't have a problem.
When I was more focused on it I could easily put away 120-160g protein a day.

Almost all soy replacements got protein in them (tofu (8/100g)/tempeh (18/100g)).
There are tons of great plant based supplements: rice protein/hemp protein/soy protein isolates.
Personally, I always thought the flavoured whey tasted terrible after drinking a few shakes. They taste like artificial sweetened s***, but the plant based (hemp) proteins are good without additional flavouring. You could put it in a shake, with banana and cinnamon for example and it’d be great if you get the proportions right.
Try it, just order a few plant based isolates.

Yeah the whey shakes taste like crap w only water or milk, but in a blender w banana, peanut butter and oats its actually tasty af.
I will look into this. Im not a vegan or vegetarian, but i'm def willing to go more that route
