They sound completely different from each other. I don't think anyone has to worry about CuDi going over full EDM beats (want it bad) or only doing songs for kids movies. Really can't wait for Entergalactic to drop so y'all can shut up >.> lol

stars in the sky is lowkey catchy asf lol. super kiddy but if you just dont take it serious and only as a feel good song, its really not THAT bad. hook is catchy.

PPDS fits waaaaaay better in the concept of the trilogy.
PPDS It's very well projected and also very well executed.BUT ANYWAY...Please tell me what I'm missing here

Zach7656Bruh. Stars In The Sky was better than most of MOTM III. IMO. But yeah newer stuff is different to me to and I have a hard time listening to it. PP&DS was good tho. KSG was good tho. The A$AP feature was good. Unreleased Juice WRLD feature was good and his Donda features were good. That’s it tho. Maybe Entergalactic will be better.
What newer stuff? He’s only dropped two songs? Y’all in here talking like he’s dropped a slew of music post motm3 when he’s basically just been waiting for his next release.

radiant childI mean it sound like he just regressed back into "sad boy seaaarccching for inner peeaccceee hoooooo" for everything post ppds & ksg. atleast in the songs on those albums he was f***ing with different themes and showing how he was growing, i.e. talking about the law of attraction with By Design, saying f*** the haters and the industry and prioritizing his own wave on "Surfin'", delving into his highschool - move to new york age backstory in detail on "Rose Golden"
but then the cudi nostalgia came back around and now he just sticks to schtick people "want"
think bout surfin got me remembering at one point cudi really wasn't f***ing with these industry niggas. now he's all over em
it's a dame shame. he was really growing into a beautiful phoenix at one pointCan you blame him though

MOTM3 gets wayy to much hate. I wonder if it didn't have the MOTM3 name if it would recieve more praise 🤔
Hope it gets it's proper respect one day. Gets annoying how people try to box it in as his attempt at the trap sound too when half the record or more doesn't sound anything like that. It legit has all different vibes throughout.
Yeah it's more uplifting and energetic then MOTM 1&2 but it should be at this point in his career. He's not addicted to coke anymore. He's gotten his flowers for the most part. He's doing things he talked about dreaming of doing early on in his career. Acting in movies, writing them, doings songs for them. Having his own tv series and movie otw ect. He's clearly not super depressed anymore. Just annoying how people try to box artist in. Especially an artist like CuDi who's changed and adapted his sound so much over the years and is all about not being boxed in

May 5, 2022I think I just moved on in my life from Cudi
When I liked him I was a lot younger, more depressed and lonely, his music spoke to that. Now I’ve got some more perspective and have fixed my s***/aged so it doesn’t hit the same. The new stuff also feels like an extension of that old work too, so it’s just not for me anymore but that’s okay. Glad people still fw him cause he helped me through a time of my life
