Nobody expected meek to do anything after back to back either because Drake didn’t give him time. The whole point of charged up and back to back was to go straight for his neck quickly. Something he also did for Pusha regardless of if he knew beforehand
Kendrick replied on a verse on an album. Something Drake does ALL the time.
So now we affording Drake excuses and giving him time when he never usually needs it unless he’s losing lol
Drake has a history of ducking and deflecting once he’s on the losing team and these captions are nothing but proof that he’s doing it again.
It’s been a week and he’s had 10+ years of subbing Kenny, you’d think he would have something to say by now. Especially when he “loves battle rap”
Weird being on the other side of this as a Drake fan but it’s true that you hardcore fanboys ain’t ever wanna see both sides.
No, everyone was clowning meek after he rushed a bullshit response on top of being the guy that started the problem. Which is what I think is trying to be avoided in this situation even though drake wasn’t the aggressor. If you don’t think he has a grace period to respond then fine believe what you want, but drake isn’t about to rush something for the sake of pleasing KTT just to end up looking stupid or put himself in the same position he was in during the push situation (over extend into putting himself in a vulnerable position). It’s literally what any person who is a true competitor does.. acknowledges past mistakes and doesn’t repeat them.
Also, I didn’t say FPS was a diss. I’m saying Kendrick acknowledged it in his verse and clearly felt a way about it which makes this even more hilarious considering it wasn’t a diss it was a borderline shoutout.
Ultimately, I was trying to make the point that these situations in the past are not remotely the same as this one because there’s a lot of moving parts at play right now, but I digress.
