yeah, absolutely. i 110% owe him an apology, i was outta line
he probably won't hear me out on my problems/concerns as he isn't an immediate accountability type guy, but what i say will probably stay with him (in a good way)

try to keep cool when bringing up your concerns and don’t use inflammatory language, just say that theyre your genuine concerns and you’re open to hearing his side
i threw my step dad up against the wall once when he tried to parent me when i was like 18-19
that one never happened again lol and we got along well after
granted we were a similar size
sometimes you get some more respect when you do this sort of stuff
