Personally I appreciate musicals even tho I don’t listen to musical soundtracks on the daily (or even really at all unless I’m seeing one)

Mainly on part of the actors tho

Performing for at least 4 hours a day 8 times a week is crazy plus they gotta learn choreography on top of the songs? And they gotta act? Crazy amount of work goes into musicals

This is a weird and narrow minded view of music enjoyment lol. Hamilton especially had massive success with its soundtrack. Just like with anything people pick up on songs they like and want to listen to it again
