I think it’s disgusting what he did, but Never Change was an album that made me a way bigger fan of down south rap, and he has classic joints. I understand that people will still listen to his music. I rarely do nowadays but every so often I play some songs that transport me back to my early childhood, and he really made quality hip-hop. Now if somehow SPM got released today, I’d be shocked if people embraced him, went to his shows, and acted like it never happened. But that’s a different thing than just silently appreciating his art. He has a sect of people who claim he’s innocent but that’s a small
