actually releasing a somewhat polished game spares you a TON of criticism. look at games like spiderman, horizon, uncharted 4, etc. All ass games but at least they run well so they satisfy most people.

SUPER BOWL SOSSI still don't know what happened in the Miles Morales game and I ain't getting that until Christmas
I like the game a lot but the story really ain't reinventing the wheel lol probably one of the most standard run of the mill superhero stories I've seen in awhile. It's fun though I suppose, and it works as a debut for Miles.

The fact that we get to see Ellie grow into this vengeful killer and how it paralleled with Abby's journey. The theme of the cycle of revenge and how it cost both of them their loved ones. And how ballsy it was to kill off Joel so early.
Dont get me wrong tho I love the RDR2 story tho. Both games had characters that I really cared for, but TLOU2 just resonated with me more.

That being said lou2 is a masterpiece

Only played TLOU2 and watched 2 on walkthrough, but I love how they turned Ellie into everything players wanted to hate the “antagonist” for. Both these games really have set the bar for powerful storytelling can be told in videogames

Nailed it, but Last of Us 2 was different though, it was not promising anything other than it being a sequel. Its getting this hate cuz its that f***ing good.
Cyberpunk was PROMISING to be a GROUNBREAKING RPG and a WORLD TO LIVE IN. Even without the bugs, it does not deliver at all.
