bro like this is still one of the hardest songs he’s made, it was supposed to be titled Rap God and be the centerpiece and dividing line between Side A and B on Old, but then he couldn’t include it because of sampling issues, so he just dropped it as a loosie that barely anyone seems to know about. it doesn’t even have a real title since he released it as “#HottestMC” as a response to him not being included on MTV’s hottest MC list.

that s*** had to hurt him but at least we still got it and it didn’t exist as a mystery song we’ll never get (like D***gies Wit Hoes Trois)

yeah some of his bars and rhyme schemes in this are crazy good. it’s a pretty straight forward song but it’s execution is incredible. dude just went in raw
