homelander got plot armor , nothing happened to that guy ever ., season 3 got great chance but nothin happened as usual..... - why not lose his powers or somethin in that vein , soldier boy could beat the s*** out him and left him dead hangin .... nope .

Antony Starr is one the best villains of the modern era

Exactly, if they can easily kill him then the villain is suddenly not that interesting and scary.
Now he's like a god and if a character stumbles upon him they can instantly die, unless he choses not to kill them

not kill him just do something with him different.... because starr is is great actor -since banshee:)

Him being damn-near invincible + having a bunch of issues including being a piece of s***, is what makes him a terrifying character.
