people tend to identify with walt even though what he did to skylar and her family is pretty horrible. you can argue that his heart was in the right place at the beginning but its hard to defend him later on. Still he is the anti hero and people usually side with these characters the most.
Skylar was intentionally written to be kind of annoying sometimes but if you put yourself in her shoes a lot of what she did is understandable imo.
The fact that people got so emotional over this character is proof to me that the show is very well written tho

Breaking bad didn't really write any of it's female characters to be likable so that's a pretty obvious take. Their all basically antagonists in some way to the main story and the main spectacle of High school teacher d*** dealing.
I think the problem is more with how the writers decided to use the female characters than the characters themselves. Every woman in a story doesn't have to be there to just nag

second and third watch is totally different. skyler is totally justified in all the s*** she says and thinks. walt lyin his ass off and making meth killin ppl breh. s*** could be stressful and confusing. but tbf she get a lil ridiculous with the nonsense in szn 3

Not to mention her brother in law was investigating the biggest d*** lord he’d never came across, which is of course Walter. Everything just hit her at once.
