demjointz and royce coming at random times during the album (and on unreleased s*** too like Top) brought some... life? idk how to explain but i like how it sounds
but sounds like it's distracting in some ways, i don't think Kanye was being lazy (he delivered a lot of "full" verses on Donda) but i've seen that this got some people talking about ghostwriting and s***
oh well, it sounds good so f*** it
Demjointz really sounds like Francis and The Lights on Jail
he really does i was 100% sure it was him

Thought it was Chance at first lol
the punch ins on jail are amazing but absolutely awful on KMSA
i like the ideas behind them tho and it's interesting to see what works and what doesn't
I love 'em.
My favorite punch-in usage is probably in Smack DVD, that song sounds amazing with punch-ins. It may not be the best song with punch-ins, but it's the one that used them best imo.
regardless of the actual quality of bars and flow and all that, i love the way they SOUND in like KMSA or old hurricane, where its like this very sudden cut between kanye and royce who have completely different setups when recording their lines, so you get this mesh of sound in a verse, really trippy and unique when executed right
what is a punch-in
Kanye says something and someone else finishes the sentence.
On Jail:
Parts in italics are Dem Jointz, though this song isn't the best example of punch-ins as he's doing full lines too.

damn i though it was ye all this time

Yeah, it's more apparent on unreleased songs like Top with more minimal production. The released songs don't have noticeable amount of punch-ins.
I was cracking up at the idea before ab a white rapper using punch-ins from a street rapper to say some s*** he shouldn't/can't be saying lmao
