Does editing a post that didnt have a user or op @ originally still pops up in their notis of the @'d user after you add it to the post edit after the fact?

does the notif still connect with the edit even tho it wasnt there in the og post?

i believe no notif goes out for an @ in the op at all, but definitely no notifs for an edit. you gotta just reply to yourself with the @

otherwise, it’d give the same person multiple notifs if you edit a post with their @ in it
