never heard of the dude. honestly I clicked this thread because I thought it said Alain Resnais. then I realized Resnais died in 2014. Anyway I thought both shorts were good. The first one was very close to being great. A question I would be curious would be about the role surrealist elements play in his films since that seems to be something he is going for (at least in the two I watched) I am very admirable of directors who can pull of surrealism in filmmaking.
