Long story short, I've been holding on to somethings that happened to me a couple years ago and I've tried to reconcile with it but it didn't work, I want to let go but idk how.

Why are you holding it in for? Do you expect to use it in the future? Or do you think youre somehow punishing that person by holding it in?

What happened to you that you developed those grudges?

Idk what you went though but holding grudges can ultimately do more damage to yourself then to the other party.

I feel ya op. Somebody once told me that holding a grudge is like drinking poison and hoping the other person gets sick.

At first I held it out of being angry at the person and at myself. Then I tried to reconcile with the person but it just made it worse.

Everytime I randomly think about the situation, I punch a wall or beat myself up (verbally) about it.

i always hold grudges and it takes me years to let go of them and some i still havent let go of yet. but dont force it cause itll just make it worse, let it go away on its own... i felt that no amount of advice or reading abt how to let it go helped. i felt that when i finally let it go it was that i accepted it for what it was and the fact i could never change it but it hurt less as time passed

Try and come to terms to with what happened and accept nothing can change, for better or worse. Look to tomorrow, take it all in and understand how you can be better from it. Don’t think on the negatives or the bad that came from up. Learn from it so you can avoid it from happening again to yourself or others

S*** happens and it ain’t easy but you got this

Take up boxing and settle the differences

If someone or you were in a situation where you were done wrong, God has a way of turning that energy back to said offender.

Some things are outta your hands, if you haven’t talked about the topic to the person, do it asap. You may not reconcile your differences but there will be clarity on your behalf.

You can also use that same grudge, negative energy and thought process and flip it into a positive. Take what you’ve learned so you don’t get played again. It’s better it happened now vs when you’re 50. Building experience, find what you can learn and grow from it
