before i asked Ktt2 what are the WORST questions to ask at a job interview!
(ktt2.com/worst-questions-to-ask-at-a-job-interview-34801)
Now i am wondering whats the BEST questions and how can i bs my inflated resume over a Zoom call interview
i shouldnt be one to advise on this since i feel like this all the time but im sure you have qualities that you havent fully thought about that could be useful and that are not conveyable through resume. that you can bring up in a way that ties to the work itself and job requirements or whatever their work culture is
my biggest concern is if i flop its not gonna be a good look for my friend that made the referral and I haven't even talked to him in years
he said it was just labour job i didnt mind cause covid already made job search difficult and then his boss sends me an email today for a different position nowhere near my caliber
like Bruh... i just graduated my last job was working part time at home depot garden centre over the summer
You'll learn as you go on the job my dude. Incorporate how you're a quick learner and have to ability to teach others as well.
Leave the self-doubt itt bro
Come with confidence, you'll learn on the job anyway, never falter at the prospect of an opportunity that others would kill for
Do NOT go into that interview thinking of all the different ways you're not qualified. It's a sure way to come across poorly and sell yourself short.
Be respectful, courteous, punctual and answer questions in the affirmative whenever it makes sense to. Don't be indecisive. Your goal should be to show that you're worth having around, and if it's not by virtue of your experience, then it should be your personality that gets you over.
Think of all the different lessons you learned and life skills you honed at your last job. Be very broad when you think about it, like how did working there make you a better worker, leader, teammate, etc. Don't talk about why you think the job is cool or even a good fit for you, instead focus on why they need you around the office.
Good luck
Op I really hope you didn't bs about your gpa. When they ask for your transcripts it's over
