If anything, I’ve learned that idolizing celebrities you don’t know is NOT the move. I can honestly say I’m in the current point in my life partially because of what I’ve learned through Ye’s music and attitude in his career from 2004-2021. Am I still a fan of him? Yes. Do I enjoy the music he’s making still? Absolutely. But expecting another human to be this figure to look up to for my entire life isn’t good. People change for better or for worse. I’ve seen it in people I know in real life too. You think they’re someone you can look up to and model your life after, but eventually they change and they weren’t really the person you thought they were all along. It’s just human nature. What’s happening with Ye here is just on a much grander scale.

This is why we didn’t hear from Kendrick or Coke throughout the majority of 2020 when people “thought” they needed to hear from them with everything going on. These people are humans, not your saviors. Look up to your family and friends. Real life people. Not celebrities

Honestly more celebrities should show their flaws like Ye does. I think this can be used as a wake up call for a lot of people. Still love this man for what I’ve learned from him, but not in the same way I love my friends and family. Looking forward to DONDA 2 and s*** man, I hope he ends up on the right side of this
