Check ur DC adapter first tho, confirm its not a power problem; it wont even hit POST so im starting to think u have a power problem. Also its very easy to unhook the touchpad when upgrading the laptop so double check if everything is connected

the touchpad is disconnected (the little metal pieces are skewed)

the adapter and the batter pack isn’t the problem

the metal part that the power button relies on is skewed too

I agree, its definitely a premium purchase. Although there are some things that Macs outperform PCs in that make them better purchases in their own rights.

For anyone on a budget I would always point to windows though
