I’m a very musically inclinced person who loves the finer details as there are others on here too. I was listening to this song (which i love):

when it gets to the second chorus, it occurred to me i naturally gravitated to singing the harmonies and my ears laser focus in on the harmony layers rather than the frontal voice. Then I realise I do this with every song where artists focus on harmonies in their music.

Does anybody else do this? thought it may strike an interesting convo

This is just a tendency of people who have good pitch replication. The more you’re exposed to music, the easier it is to infer and replicate harmonies. I do this a lot

Yea I’ve always focused on on tiny details in production along with harmonies. I put lyrics last usually

same. lyrics are overrated tbh
