I’m literally lost when it comes to thing like this, but I’m in the market for a laptop for basic things like KTT2 and playing Warcraft 3. Does anyone have any idea for something that’s not too expensive but works fine? Or even where to get one. Refurbished is fine I just need some guidance

Kinda hard to recommend s*** without knowing the budget

Avoid refurbished unless the company selling it is willing to give at least a 90 day warranty on it.

I mean ideally I’d spend less than this but the most I’d like to go is $650

you wont get much for $650, if you can deal with something like this:

I'd get a Intel NUC with a i5 if you want something sorta portable, it'll last you much longer and probably perform better then any laptop at that price range imo

I’m mostly looking for something I can move around the house with and watch movies in bed. Something with a monitor isn’t really ideal but thanks

can't beat this price for performance

sips power, battery should last twice as long as a intel 6 core cpu

also the graphics are vega graphics so it would game way better than any intel igpu

Heard of this, performs just like (new) MBP and (new) XPS for the 1/3 of their price

    Lord Ryzen

Lenovo in general is well received too

With laptops there ALWAYS comes a time where you gotta open that s*** up and get the dust out from the fans, heatsink, motherboard, etc. Only way to do it correctly is to take your laptop partially apart

Trying to blow out the dust by blowing on the fan exhaust is only pushing that dust deeper into your PC.

It's not that hard, you can youtube that s***.
