Yes, if you started listening to hiphop last year maybe

They put up the numbers but don't bring the quality

Every track on Lil Baby & Youngboy albums sound the same, i can see Roddy becoming something great though if he keeps evolving

  • spongebob

    that's leaks bro

Youngboy got that still relatively fresh buzz and popularity at the moment... labels still pushing further etc,

i mean i'm not mad at that but i've been distracted so this is last nba youngboy i remember loving

has nba youngboy taken the kevin gates position???

Drake, Kenny, and Cole are the last lyricists we’re gonna see reach that level of stardom and it’s not being talked about enough. That’s a big shift

I agree with them being the last ones to reach that level but there will always be a place for more lyrical rappers in the mainstream.

Cordae, Kodak, polo g are all good lyricist and youngboy himself is above average lyrically

Nah you right they might be but it's been a while since i cared for who put up the most numbers. Cause so many new boring rappers get worshipped by these teens

they don't drop great bodies of work though and that's my main problem with them.

And it's not because they don't make traditional hiphop because i think Rodeo is one of the greatest hiphop albums of all time

NBA YoungBoy never was as popular as any of them guys . Scorpion did like a million first week . Damn did like 620 first week . Kod did like 400 first week . NBA is like a 100k first week tier rapper

i agree, i haven't been caught up with the newer popular rappers for years, except occasionally I'll hear a few songs and appreciate the talent...

no shade to the new guys though because a lot of them are actually very talented at what they do
