Agreed, Mr. Right Now fits with the theme of CLB. I still think Knife Talk is ass though

Def fw the goon energy Drake in goon mode with the bars all through the album tho

Based off how the album is sequenced Knife talk fits perfectly. Comes on in a string of aggressive songs. No Friends In The Industry has a Three Six Mafia feel to it and it's followed up with Project Pat opening up Knife Talk.

Knife talk is perfect. Other song is too upbeat and doesn’t fit the albums structure

  • Sep 4, 2021

    Agree

Mr. Right Now should have never been made to begin with.

  • I disagree, I think it fit in perfectly as another aggressive song after NFITI and then leads nice into another Time and place track with straight bars

Also not the biggest fan of MRN
