I feel like we cant rule out the possibility that, due to the fact we have a wannabe mobster as a president, a lot of the rappers that were offered pardons could have been seriously threatened in someway shape or form that made taking the pardon that much more attractive. Or at least made NOT taking the pardon a much worse option.
