is it weird wearing something that's in Arabic even though i'm not Arabic and neither is the brand? feels weird like that thing Virgil did with the XO Tour Lif3 captions and was using the language for aesthetics
Thoughts? maybe i'm wrong
If I saw someone who wasn’t a part of my culture wearing something from it I’d be flattered. There’s nothing wrong with being enthusiastic about another culture.
So long as the person respects it otherwise and doesn’t turn around and hate on it.
Lmao the problems some people have. Get that hoodie man you're not gonna cause WW3 just cause you have arabic text on it
That hoodie aint it fam
imma b real w u chieftain. i dont think ppl rlly gonna care about someone who isnt arab wearing that hoodie because of cultural appropriation.
i do think ppl gonna care abt u wearing that hoodie bc it kinda sucks
Interesting to see the replies here cos I don't remember anybody saying this about supreme doing similar lol
Does it actually say anything in Arabic though, or is it gibberish? A lot of “Greek” and “Cyrillic” in fashion, media etc is just English misusing these alphabets, and that s*** to me is cringe as f***. I imagine it’s the same for Arabic speakers if it’s written using Arabic script but doesn’t actually say anything
Its not as bad as people making it out to be, the text says velour in english anyways, just made to look like arabic
Didn't supreme do the same thing recently?
Edit: Logo is in Arabic
IK YOU ARENT A SUPREME OG LMAO. THIS S***S BEEN A THING
Isn't this the same s*** Ian has been doing for a while too?
What's the reason for all this sudden Arabic aesthetic stuff lmao.
Super corny.
IK YOU ARENT A SUPREME OG LMAO. THIS S***S BEEN A THING
