FREEIs it? I thought last year kept up their streak of season ratings drops. The players got a lot of love for activism but the league itself is still bleeding.

It’ll take some time but I think slowly but surely the league will grow. The salaries are rising and every year there are more popular prospects in the college/high school scene.
At one point even the NBA was a failing league and some teams even had to do telathons to raise money so the wouldn’t get shut down

I get how sports ratings work but WNBA is facing a bigger uphill battle as a female sport and in a world where ratings for all sports are declining.
The NBA and WNBA comparisons doesn't work for alot of reasons but I'll let it be I was talking to the other guy and you didn't really add anything m.

Imo they have to change how they market the league. Because the way they do it now is just “NBA but with women”. They also need to market their stars, and unpopular opinion but they need to probably lower the hoop about a foot because it would lead to more offense

Not lower the hoop but change the rules to make the game faster and open the floor up
