I've always wanted to remix The Weeknd, but couldn't find a solid acapella. I ended up cutting up his acoustic performance of the song. If you don't like it, feel free to trash though - I enjoyed making it tho

Speaking a musician, solid job. It's difficult using an acapella from a live acoustic performance given the amount of rubato Abel uses here, you did as well as you could in terms of timing. Everything works technically, and the colours used for the instrumentation fit together well and suit the tone of the song. I enjoyed the little plinky syncopated alternative melodies during chorus. If I'm being harsh, the overall sound is ever so slightly generic, but finding your sound takes time. Good stuff, keep it up.

Thanks for the feedback! I tend to make pretty spacey stuff, but I'm also nowhere near the stage of being able to say I even have a sound. I'm still focusing on learning how to make more complex beats without it sounding cluttered and messy.

Also my mixing skills are awful and I think it can definitely dull the sound.
