Pretty easy to use I think. It just shows you two random albums. Pick the one you prefer and then it calculates a ranking based off the data points.
After Rolling Stone put out their list I wanted to know what a list made by actual hip-hop fans would look like. But I couldn't find a website that would allow me to crowdsource a ranking the way I wanted to. So I just decided to build my own. The only problem there is the fact that I don't know how to code.
So yeah, if the whole thing flops or crashes and breaks immediately, or takes forever to load, or is filled with bugs...idk how to code so idk what you expected. It was a fun project while work was slow over the summer.
UPDATE: UNDER MAINTENANCE
Somebody f***ed with the ranking by writing a script that spams the same result over and over. Currently working on a way to prevent that from happening again.
UPDATE 2:
im not trusting a guy claiming to make a website, yet he dont know how to link it

Thanks man. Lot of hours over the past couple months
The database of albums I curated myself. But the pairs are randomly pulled from that
Used it for a little bit, do the matchups ever stop?
There's 471 albums in the database which makes 110k possible pairs. So yeah, it'll eventually run out but I can't see anyone every getting to the end

interesting i keep getting tough ass matchups lol
Pretty neat. Reminds of the Kanye song ranker
Started doing it but I imagine there’s a lot of pairings
how long before the rankings stabilize?
In my personal experience it took around 3k data points to get a stable ranking. But that was also just me so the results were consistent. With lots of people it'll be much more random and might take longer.
Pretty dope concept OP
Just realized I unintentionally copied this comment

At the end will it show my ranking as well as the sites overall?
